1. You are correct: I’ve never had celery peeled and blanched. I never would have even thought of preparing it that way.
2. The folks I’ve seen wearing PJs in public were definitely not college students. They were grown adults, taking their children to family court. Which, now that I think about it, explains a lot.
3. I don’t have a problem with cupcakes per se, but rather with the recent frenzy surrounding them, including the exorbitant pricing structure. Other than that, I love cupcakes.

Italian: People here love the red sauce. It’s hardly ethnic.
DD Coffee: Makes you yearn for something sweet. Donut?
Husband: He’s not hungry enough.
Dave Matthews: I never got into him either.
HFCS: Why do people worry about terrorists, but drive a car every day? I’d avoid HFCS and be less afraid of terrorists.
PJs: College kids engage in all kinds of unacceptable behavior. It is not ok to wear PJs out in public.
6 Foot Sub: First you have to make a 6 foot roll.
Celery: Obviously you’ve never had it peeled and blanched.
Euro: Euro-trash is no more appealing than regular trash.
Cupcakes: You have a problem with cupcakes?
Advertising: They proofread. Clients sign-off. It’s amazing what falls through the cracks.

I don’t understand the PJs thing either. It looks stupid. The furthest I go out in my jammie pants is to the bottom of my driveway to fetch my empty trash can.

I can’t stand Dave Matthews and also do not get his appeal.

Bob is just like my husband – meat and potatoes. God FORBID they try anything else. They aren’t adventurous. Jennifer is right…they are just set in their ways.

I like cupcakes but I won’t pay for the latest “designer” cupcakes. I think it’s a waste of money.

And people are stupid…I make typos and grammatical errors but wow, how many people had to look at that thing before it went up on a bus???

IMO, it’s the best of the mass produced. Your husband is set in his ways, the only explanation for Dave Matthews is that most people seem to take in large amounts of weed while enjoying him- perhaps it’s necessary for the enjoyment? Cigarettes and HFCS are both gross. It is not acceptable to wear PJ’s in public and those who do should be stoned. Not sure about deli pricing and the only time I eat celery is as an ingredient in something else. Because people are stupid. Cupcakes are yummy and fun and the economy sucks so we need something frivolous to enjoy. Advertising professionals are human and prone to error.
