You Are a Gingerbread House |
![]() A little spicy and a little sweet, anyone would like to be lost in the woods with you. |
Thanks, Sweetpea! I thought I might turn out to be a trifle, as well, but I guess you and I aren’t as alike as I thought!
What a sucky day. Snowfall of about a million feet, and got rear-ended on the treacherous drive home. I was making aright turn from State Street onto Erie Blvd. in Schenectady(WITH the green arrow, by the way), and a pedestrian just strolled out in front of me. I hit the brakes, and WHAM!
Nothing major, but certainly an annoyance that just made the day even suckier. At least there wasn’t much damage to either car 9and no injuries). BUT – I of course have filed a claim with the other insurance company! It was most assuredly not my fault. But the lady was nice and wished me a happy holiday after we exchanged information.
And I have to say, even though they’re not my insurance carrier, the folks at Progressive were awful nice. Obviously, I have not been paid to say that. We’ll see how the rest of the experience goes – I am visiting the Progressive Concierge Service Center on Wednesday to have the bumper repaired.
<sigh>
Well, actually, I was also a gingerbread house. There were a couple of questions where I could have answered one of two ways — the first of which yielded the trifle that I posted. I went back and answered the questions the other way, and got gingerbread house. I just went with the first one for the sake of brevity.
So, we are that much alike, in fact.
Oh, and sorry about the car. That sucks, though I am glad no one got hurt!
Bummer about the car! So glad you weren’t hurt!!!!
And i”m with you about the snow. It seems the nor’easter this weekend will keep us from attending Polish Christmas Dinner this year, and I’m bummed. Aunt Lorraine is pushing 90, and I’ll be so sad if I miss her last one. Boooo!
That sucks about your car but sheesh…a million feet? We got a puny 8 inches in my corner of the Capital District. I didn’t realize it snowed that hard Schenectady! 🙂
Sorry, just laughing at your “slight” exaggeration. The BIG storm is coming this weekend which will make this one look like a walk in the park.
That’s funny that we are all Gingerbread Houses….says a alot about our little girly group eh?
