How’s this for cool?
After my Camelicious post the other day, I sent an email to Al Nassma chocolate company in Dubai. I got a reply from the Chairman of their Board of Directors today, saying they would be happy to send me samples (and have their NY distributor send me samples too) for an Al Nassma camel milk chocolate tasting event!
He sent along some really cool photos of one of their chocolate shops in Dubai:

He also sent me samples of their marketing materials:

More details to follow, but I will likely schedule something at a public spot where people will be comfortable joining me. I’d also like to see if I can possibly set up some wine pairings as well (there must be SOME wine that goes well with camel milk chocolates).
This is all very exciting..I am looking forward to the first Wendalicious event!
Dear Wendy , thank you so much for your kind words but wait and see until you tried our little treats. They are fantastic. In the meantime may I suggest that, as we are producing an arabic chocolate here, you conduct your sampling with some great sudanese coffee for instance or some black tea instead of the wine. Just a suggestion! Especially our locally flavoured arabia-bar will go nicely with some beautiful jebbana (eastern sudanese coffee).
All the best and see you for some sampling in Dubai soon,
Martin
