Where Was I Today?

I’ll keep this post short and sweet.

This afternoon, I was part of the first Great Albany Cupcake Tasting – organized and hosted by my friend Daniel over at FUSSYlittleBLOG. We tasted 12 different cupcakes from the four most recognizable cupcake bakeries in the Albany area, and scored each one on its cake, frosting/topping, and overall appeal.

I have been feeling slightly sick all afternoon. Waaaay too much cake and frosting. Yes, that is possible. And probably deserved, due to all of my cupcake bashing over the years.

Anyway, I don’t have much more to say beyond that, since the scores have not yet been tabulated and announced. You can look for those results on Monday or Tuesday next week over at All Over Albany. I will say this, though – Daniel took a straw poll of the cupcake tasters, and our “votes” for best (and worst) may be a bit shocking to those of you familiar with the Albany cupcake scene.
