But the photos are so delightful!

I am not a photographer, but every once in a while something is so beautiful that I’m inspired to grab the ol’ digital camera and snap a few shots.

Last night and this morning, the Capital Region was socked with a pretty devastating snow/ice storm.  Trees were felled, cars were crashed, more than 200,000 people lost power (including my in-laws, who are coming over later to warm up!), schools and businesses were closed (including mine – which declared a state of emergency).  Luckily, I did not have to venture out past my driveway today (and that was just because the dog had to go).

The two trees in front of my house provided some beauty in the midst of chaos, though…enjoy!
