I’m a bit embarrassed, but I have removed my post from 2 days ago – the news clipping calling for changes in our nation’s government. As a good friend pointed out to me, some of the “facts” presented were in fact erroneous. I should have done my research before posting it. I consider myself fairly informed on the issues, but perhaps I let my emotions overrule my judgement in posting the column.
That being said, I wholeheartedly support term limits, securing our borders, and parents taking responsibility for themselves and the children they choose to bring into this world.
That’s it. No more politics on this blog.
I completely agree, Wendalicious.
Every legislator, when her term ends, ought to have to face the voters to see if we want her to return. We voters have the power to limit any official to one term (and we ought to do it more often). If we don’t, then the fault lies with us.
I’m all for strong borders. A loose border isn’t a border at all.
Parents, of course, ought to be responsible for themselves, their children, and their guns. If any two of these combine to cause pain to another citizen, then the law ought to get involved, and prison ought to be considered.
I know we disagree on just about everything, Milo, but you’re still one of my favorite people. At the very least, we can agree that Allan Havey is a comedy god.
