Some great Dunkin’ Donuts promotions at “The Joe” in Troy for this season of Tri-City Valley Cats baseball…seems like a match made in caffeinated heaven.  Then again, I’ve never met a cup of coffee I didn’t love.

  • On Sunday, August 15, in honor of Dunkin’ Donuts 60th birthday, the first 1,000 people through the admission gates (with paid admission) will receive a “mystery” Dunkin’ Donuts card worth anywhere from $2 to $60. The rechargeable gift cards are redeemable at any participating Dunkin’ Donuts location in the Capital Region.  The Cats take on the Staten Island Yankees at Sunday’s game.  First pitch is 5:00pm, and fireworks follow the game.
  • Fans who present their Dunkin’ Donuts card at the box office will receive $1 off the general admission ticket price. The offer is valid throughout the 2010 ValleyCats season.
  • One attendee at each regular season home game will receive the star treatment and have the chance to win free coffee for a year, courtesy of Dunkin’ Donuts. The randomly chosen “Dunkin’ Donuts Lucky Fan” will be introduced to the crowd live on the ballpark’s video board prior to a select inning during the game. If a ValleyCats player hits the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee cup sign with a batted ball during the inning, the fan will receive the grand prize of free coffee for a year. Each “Dunkin’ Donuts Lucky Fan” will be awarded a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card regardless of the result.
